Areas & neighborhood

The neighborhoods the most looked after by expatriates are Limpertsberg, Merl, Belair but also Gasperich, Cessange or Pfaffenthal and its old architecture. If you look after an animated environment, the neighborhood next to the Station, Clausen or Grund are made for you. A strategic decision can also be based on the school choices or business district: Kirchberg, Weimershof or Neudorf. Our office is located at Capellen, in the city's outskirts. Anyway, in Luxembourg, everything is close!

Budget

Whether you decide to rent or to buy, you have to know that Luxembourg is victim of its own success. Real estate prices are high but you can always find the rare gem or opt for alternatives such as coliving or living in neighboring countries. For buying, the average price in 2021 was 7.805€/m2 up to 17.000€/m2 in the city center. When it comes to renting, the average rent per m2 in Luxembourg city is 36.28€/m2 with differences between districts. The prices are lower if you move away from the center.

Located in 3 campus (Belval, Kirchberg, Limpertsberg), the University of Luxembourg offers 17 bachelor degrees and 46 master degrees but also doctoral education. There are 3 faculties: Science, technology and medicine, Law, economics and finance and Humanities, education and social sciences. Classes are taught in English, French and German.
